Editor's review
This is a software tool that helps determine quality of websites.
SiteQLT program is a system of quality control of web-pages on multiple criteria. Developers of web sites could improve the appearance of their sites and their pages, web page loading times could be optimized, correct code used for building the web pages, etc. Ultimately where it helps is when pages are developed meeting these criteria, you have distinct possibility that visitors that do come around to the site will stay and look around for useful product/services or material. It will also help in getting your sites to the top of search engine results. This software utility evaluates the web pages based on several criteria. These include the speed of loading of a page, stability of the look of the page even when screen resolutions are changed, readability of text on the given background, color harmony, validation of HTML and CSS code, quality of images and of course rankings in search engines.
Having analyzed a page the tool will assign marks in the scale of 0-10 on each of these counts and a overall number that will be displayed for your information. The interface is well laid out. Controls are easily accessible. Information presented also is well laid out. Most of the parameters are subjective in nature, particularly things like color harmony or readability of text. So how far these measurements can take you is debatable. However, a score of 3 is obviously bad. However, such as in color harmony, what would be the meaning of a score of 8 or higher! Will it be a perfect color harmony! That is a very subjective thing anyway. This should be used as a broad guide that is a good tool for code verification and possibly the load time measurements.
